Through the development of strategic projects, EDF Renewables reinforces its purpose of building a CO₂-neutral energy future, capable of reconciling planet preservation, well-being, and development, demonstrating its commitment to operating in a broadly sustainable manner. Since 2015, the company has already invested over 8 billion reais in the country, avoided emitting 1.3 million tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere annually – considering all the projects enabled – and positively impacted thousands of people.
As part of the EDF Group, a key player in the global energy transition, the company is committed to making the corporate strategy “Ambitions 2035” a reality. The project aims to drive the new electric revolution and build the electricity system of tomorrow, to offer decarbonized, available and competitive energy to its customers.
