André Salgado assumed the position of CEO of EDF Renewables Brazil and Director of Latam in 2022. Graduated in electrical engineering and with 30 years of expertise in the energy sector, the executive was the South America director at Framatome, an EDF Group company.

Salgado has experience in nuclear generation activities and from renewable sources such as biomass, small and medium hydroelectric plants, in addition to activities in the area of energy transmission.
Raissa Cafure Lafranque
Deputy CEO
Deputy CEO since October 2021. She has served as New Business Director at EDF Renewables Brasil from 2019 to 2023. Raissa is responsible for the development of projects and partnerships, origination of PPAs and pricing, M&A (greenfield and brownfield), and the internal investment approval process. She joined the company in 2015 and was responsible for the development of more than 2.5 GW of solar and wind projects. Raíssa has been an advisor to the Brazilian Wind Energy Association (ABEEólica) since 2023.

Asset Operations Director
Luísa is the head of the Asset Operations Department since 2021, responsible for managing all projects in operation such as contract management, performance and results assessment, energy and regulatory management, interface with partners, among others. She joined EDF Renewables in 2017 to structure the management of operating assets.

Luísa has an extensive experience in the renewable sector, working in wind and solar projects. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from UFMG and an MBA in Administration with a focus on the Electric Sector from FGV-MG.
Luciana Fraga Mello
LEGAL DIRECTOR, COMPLIANCE AND RISK
Luciana assumed the position of Legal Director, Compliance and Risk in June 2024. With approximately 20 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, and Governance, she has worked in American and Brazilian law firms, as well as in companies from various sectors such as aviation, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and mining.

Alain Sandansamy
Technical Support Director
Leader of the Latam Technical Support Department since 2021. Alain was responsible for creating and managing the company’s Purchasing and Contracts area in Brazil. His experience at EDF Renewables started in 2011 in Paris. In 2016 he was transferred to Brazil.

Jessica is responsible for the Financial Department since April 2022. At EDF Renewables in Brazil since 2020, the executive also worked at the head office in Paris, where she ensured the implementation of the EDF Group’s accounting rules in each subsidiary.

Fabiano has served as Commercialization Director at EDF Renewables do Brasil since August 2022. He is responsible for the energy origination and commercialization strategy of the company’s project portfolio in Brazil.

The executive was also responsible for coordinating electrical and energy studies and strategic planning for agents in the sector.
