Born from the unification of EDF Brasil and EDF Renewables operations, EDF Power Solutions is a company that has been developing, constructing, and operating power generation plants in the country for over 20 years.
With more than 2.7 GW of installed capacity, the company is present in six Brazilian states and has assets in solar, wind, hydro, and thermal energy, as well as transmission and O&M services. Brazil Director/Chief Executive Officer
André Salgado is the Chief Executive Officer of EDF Power Solutions. With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, he has served as CEO and LATAM Director of EDF Renewables since 2022.

Throughout his professional career, he has accumulated significant expertise in nuclear energy, having served as the South America Director at Framatome, a company of the EDF Group, as well as in renewable generation (biomass, small hydroelectric plants, and medium hydroelectric plants) and transmission. André holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and has completed specializations at FGV and Harvard Business School (USA).

Veronica Vara
Deputy CEO and Chief HR & Communication Officer
Veronica Vara is the Deputy CEO and Chief HR & Communication Officer of EDF Power Solutions, having led the Human Resources, Communication, and QSMA departments at EDF Brasil since September 2021. With 24 years at the EDF Group, she has built a solid career in Human Resources, encompassing labor relations, optimization, transformation, and leadership. With extensive international experience, she previously served as HR and Finance Director at a Group unit in France and worked in Career Management and International Mobility at EDF Energy in London.

Raíssa Cafure Lafranque
Chief Strategy, Commercial and Development Officer
Raíssa Cafure Lafranque is the Chief Strategy, Commercial, and Development Officer at EDF power solutions. She has been in the renewable sector since 2013 and was the Vice President of EDF Renewables since 2021, having joined the group in April 2015. She is also a board member at ABEEólica, currently in her second term. Her experience includes leadership in the feasibility and development of new energy businesses, partnership management, M&A, financial modeling and pricing, energy trading, and investment approval.

Jean-Philippe de Oliveira
Chief Asset Operation Officer
Jean-Philippe de Oliveira is the Chief Asset Operation Officer of EDF Power Solutions. He has led the Operations department at EDF Brasil since September 2020 and has been with the EDF Group since 2009, accumulating international experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M), including roles at thermal power plants in France. Jean-Philippe has been active in developing strategies and structuring the services area.
Jean-Philippe de Oliveira is the Chief Asset Operation Officer of EDF Power Solutions. He has led the Operations department at EDF Brasil since September 2020 and has been with the EDF Group since 2009, accumulating international experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M), including roles at thermal power plants in France. Jean-Philippe has been active in developing strategies and structuring the services area.
He holds a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Mechanics from ENSAM in Paris, France, and in Construction from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain.

Juliana Oliveira
Chief Legal Officer
With over 20 years of experience in Brazil and abroad, Juliana Oliveira has built a solid career working in prominent law firms, including in the United States, with a strong focus on areas such as capital markets, M&As, arbitration, corporate governance, financing, and negotiation of strategic contracts.
In addition to her work in law firms, Juliana has also held leadership positions in infrastructure sector companies, focusing on highway, airport, urban mobility, and energy projects. She was responsible for the legal structuring of greenfield and brownfield projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, engaging with public and private stakeholders, and managing legal risks, including regulatory issues.

Chief Compliance, Risks and Internal Controls Officer LATAM
Luciana Fraga is the Chief Compliance, Risks, and Internal Controls Officer for LATAM at EDF Power Solutions. She has served as the Legal, Compliance, and Risk Director at EDF Renewables since 2024. With approximately 20 years of experience in the Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Governance fields, she has worked in both American and Brazilian law firms, as well as held leadership positions in companies across various sectors, including energy, logistics, mining, pharmaceuticals, and aviation.
Luciana Fraga is the Chief Compliance, Risks, and Internal Controls Officer for LATAM at EDF Power Solutions. She has served as the Legal, Compliance, and Risk Director at EDF Renewables since 2024. With approximately 20 years of experience in the Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Governance fields, she has worked in both American and Brazilian law firms, as well as held leadership positions in companies across various sectors, including energy, logistics, mining, pharmaceuticals, and aviation.
Her expertise includes M&A, corporate governance, litigation, compliance, and crisis management. Luciana holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northwestern University in Chicago, United States, and is a graduate in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Brazil.

Alain Sandansamy
Chief Technical Officer
Alain Sandansamy is the Chief Technical Officer at EDF Power Solutions. He has been part of the EDF Group since 2011 and served as the Technical Support Director at EDF Renewables since 2021, responsible for the areas of HSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Contract Management for wind and solar projects. Previously, he was the Procurement and Contracts Manager and a buyer for wind and solar projects at EDF Energies Nouvelles. He also has prior experience as a Project Engineer at Gas Natural Fenosa.
