Thus, the EDF Group reaffirms its commitment to the energy transition, becoming a leader in decarbonization solutions and a benchmark in terms of energy efficiency.
EDF Renewables is proud to contribute to the achievement of the Group’s goals. Operating in Brazil since 2015, the company has more than 1.8 GW in viable wind and solar energy projects in the country. There are three parks in operation and one under construction, adding up to more than 1.3 m t of CO₂ avoided annually and almost R$ 10 billion invested in Brazil. In addition, we have about 65% of the operational capacity allocated to the free contracting environment.
