Vice president of EDF Renewables Brazil is among the most influential energy personalities
The vice president of EDF Renewables Brasil, Raíssa Cafure Lafranque, was elected by Grupo Mídia as one of the most influential personalities in energy this year in the Energy Efficiency category. The award, which has been held since 2016, aims to recognize and honor 100 people who have boosted the Brazilian energy sector through relevant actions and projects. The official ceremony will be held on December 4 at Palácio Tangará, in São Paulo.

Influencing our energy sector in the development of a more sustainable market that drives the just energy transition is, without a doubt, my greatest professional goal. Participating in this transformation, envisioning new horizons and helping to develop sustainable energy solutions, is my main fuel. Raíssa Cafure Lafranque has been Vice President of EDF Renewables Brazil since October 2021, having also served as Director of New Business from 2019 to 2023. She is responsible for the development of projects and partnerships, origination of PPAs and pricing, M&A (greenfield and brownfield) and internal approval process of investments. She joined the company in 2015 and was responsible for the development of more than 2.5 GW of solar and wind projects. Raíssa has been an advisor to the Brazilian Wind Energy Association (ABEEólica) since 2023.
